Damon Phillips

Damon Phillips is senior vice president and general manager of NBC Sports Washington. He oversees the network and its relationships as the official sports network of the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, and Washington Redskins.

Prior to joining NBC Sports Washington, Phillips spent 10 years at ESPN in a variety of executive level roles. He was a significant contributor to ESPN’s expansion of live video streaming on mobile and over-the-top devices while serving as vice president of WatchESPN and ESPN3.

Phillips has held roles at USA Football, DirecTV, Disney, and the NBA. He also founded SportsTVInsider, a personalized sports television recommendation engine.

Phillips earned a football scholarship to Stanford University and graduated with honors.
