Fergal Ringrose

Fergal Ringrose is editorial director of Sports Video Group Europe. Prior to taking up this full-time role in 2019, Ringrose was part-time executive editor of SVG Europe and also part-time executive editor of IBC365, the year-round content platform for the IBC show he helped to create. Ringrose was previously editorial director of the IBC Daily newspaper from 2002-2016 and editorial director of Television Broadcast Europe magazine from 1993 to 2013. From 1989 to 1993, he was director and editor of Playback, the first-ever business magazine for the audiovisual sector in Ireland.

Ringrose holds a B.A. in communication studies from Dublin City University and an M.A. in communication studies from California State University, Sacramento.
